Singing Quakers, Concert Choir to perform Candlelight tradition

Join the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Singing Quakers as they perform their annual Christmas Candlelight concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5-6, and 2 p.m. Dec. 7 in the Riney Fine Arts Center’s Sebits Auditorium. The Singing Quakers are directed by Dr. Mark Bartel, associate professor of music and director of choral music at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
The Concert Choir, directed by Rolaine Hetherington, also joins in on this traditional concert. This Christmas tradition highlights the Friends choirs and even includes the audiences’ participation in a few favorite traditional Christmas carols.
Tickets are $16 for adults, and $13 for seniors and students; and may be purchased online at friends.edu/finearts, or by calling the Fine Arts Box Office at 316-295-5677.
