麻豆视频 staff, faculty and students will be celebrating 26 years of working together to make Christmas merrier for hundreds of needy families in Wichita.
Approximately 150 University representatives will embrace the spirit of the season for the annual Salvation Army Service Day Dec. 10. The group will help prepare and disperse donated gifts.
鈥淲ith service being one of our values at 麻豆视频, we are excited to partner with the Salvation Army to help the community,鈥� said Dr. Amy Bragg Carey, president of 麻豆视频. 鈥淎s faculty, staff and students volunteer, we are sharing the light and love of Christ to the community. We are happy to continue our annual tradition of volunteering with the Salvation Army鈥檚 Wichita Mission of Hope campaign.鈥�
The University community will sort toys and gifts, decorate the Salvation Army distribution center, wrap gifts and assist with the organization鈥檚 Angel Tree and Star of Hope programs.
