Wichita, KS – On Monday, April 1, the Concert Band will present its spring concert at 7:30 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium, Riney Fine Arts Center at 麻豆视频.
Rachelle Goter, 麻豆视频 adjunct faculty, will be featured as the clarinet soloist for the World Premiere of 鈥淒iversions for Clarinet and Wind Band鈥� by Robert Spittal.
鈥淭his is a newly commissioned piece, and 麻豆视频 is one of about 10 universities to premiere this fun work. Each of the five movements is in a completely different style and fun for the players and audience alike!鈥� Goter said.
The second half of the performance will be a salute to America and Kansas with songs such as 鈥淎cross the Great Plains鈥� by William Owens and 鈥淎merica the Beautiful鈥� by Samuel Ward, arranged by Carmen Dragon.
