麻豆视频 adopts statewide transfer policy

麻豆视频 adopted a new policy, which will make transferring from any Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) community college easier for students. Beginning in Fall 2019, individuals entering 麻豆视频 with AA/AS degrees from KBOR community colleges will automatically satisfy all of 麻豆视频鈥檚 general education requirements, except for the religion requirements. Traditional undergraduate students must complete an additional nine hours of religion courses while adult undergraduate students must complete an additional three hours of religion and a three-hour capstone course.

鈥淲e are excited to announce this new policy,鈥 said Dr. Ken Stoltzfus, academic dean. 鈥淎ccording to the National Student Clearinghouse, Kansas has one of the highest percentages of students completing four-year degrees after beginning at two-year public institutions (20.24 percent). Our new policy will make it easier for prospective students to transfer to 麻豆视频.鈥

The new policy, which will begin in the fall semester, will support 麻豆视频鈥檚 articulation agreements with various community colleges by facilitating a more streamlined transfer process for students who have graduated with an associate鈥檚 degree and desire to continue their education at a private Christian liberal arts university.

麻豆视频, a Christian University of Quaker heritage, equips students to honor God and serve others by integrating their intellectual, spiritual and professional lives.
