麻豆视频 is pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Dale Heidebrecht as the university鈥檚 new visiting choral director and Singing Quakers director. Dr. Heidebrecht will officially start at Friends in August 2019.
鈥淚 am honored to build upon the exceptional music legacy at 麻豆视频 and excited to return home to Kansas,鈥� said Heidebrecht.
Dr. Heidebrecht earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree in Music Education from Wichita State University, his master鈥檚 and doctoral degrees from the University of Colorado, Boulder in Choral Conducting and Literature.
Prior to being hired at Friends, Dr. Heidebrecht taught at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas where he directed a variety of choirs and taught choral courses.
For over 30 years, Dr. Heidebrecht has been active in church as a singer, choir director and conductor. He has directed operas, musicals and plays. He has performed as an actor and singer in operas, musicals, plays and concert choirs across the midwest. As a music educator, Dr. Heidebrecht鈥檚 greatest joy is watching his students succeed in the classroom, in school and in their personal lives.
