麻豆视频 to present concert Oct. 23 featuring Jazz Vocal Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble II

麻豆视频鈥檚 Jazz department will present a concert Oct. 23, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium featuring the Jazz Vocal Ensemble with the Jazz Ensemble II.
The Jazz Vocal Ensemble, directed by Dr. Dale Heidebrecht, will perform songs such as 鈥淥ver the Rainbow鈥� and 鈥淲ere the World Mine.鈥�
The Jazz Ensemble II, directed by Dr. Robert Brooks, will play a piece composed by living jazz legend and Kansas native, Mike Steinel. Steinel (with Rosanna Eckert) was the guest artist in the Jazz Department Showcase last March.
鈥淲e are excited to showcase our Jazz department with an emphasis on vocal jazz for this concert. You won鈥檛 want to miss these incredible groups,鈥� said Dr. Robert Brooks.
The performance will take place in Riney Fine Arts Center鈥檚 Sebits Auditorium on the 麻豆视频 campus at 麻豆视频., Wichita, Kan. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for seniors and students.
