The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Theatre Department presents an assortment of shows each season to entertain audiences of all ages. Come enjoy a theatre or music theatre production on one of our stages.
Jazz Events
Revel in the sounds of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ big bands and jazz combos. This jazz season includes appearances by world-class guest artists that you will not want to miss! Under the direction of Dr. Nick Schroeder, the student jazz groups will entertain and amaze you with their talent and passion for playing the music of the jazz greats.
Visual Arts Events
The Riney Fine Arts Gallery is conveniently located between Sebits Auditorium and the Fine Arts Office. Stop by the gallery anytime because the schedule is filled with a wide variety of artists who are sure to challenge you through their visual interpretations. Final Friday receptions are scheduled for each art show on the last Friday of each month from 5:00-7:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). Regular gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Dance Events
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Dance program trains students to combine artistry with personal expression. Some dance performances are collaborative efforts with other disciplines such as Music Theatre.
Choral & Vocal Music Events
Broadway, classical, world music and more! Known for stirring performances at home and abroad, the sounds of Â鶹ÊÓƵ choirs range from the intimacy of the Jazz Vocal Ensemble to the majesty of the 200-voice Choral Union. Under the leadership of expert faculty and special guest conductors, the voices of Â鶹ÊÓƵ are sure to inspire you!
Instrumental Music Events
The Concert Band concerts feature renowned guest artists and some of the greatest new and standard literature from the wind band repertoire. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Community Orchestra includes students and community members in full orchestra. Chamber ensembles, including the Percussion Ensemble and the Chamber Orchestra offer more opportunities for great music.
